Today is June 7 and that makes it the date of the Dragon Boat Festival, a popular Chinese festival that involves racing beautiful dragon-shaped boats on rivers. It takes place on the fifth day of the fifth month of the lunar calendar and celebrates a Chinese hero named Qu Yuan, who was a famous poet.
